Lake Kivu is shares between Rwanda and part of Congo, it has three major relaxing points at the major towns of Gisenyi, Kibuye and Chyangungu. The water in LakeKivu is cool all those who would want to swim especially on a hot day are free to jump in the lake and enjoy themselves.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Transfer to Lake Kivu

On your arrival our safari guide will pick you up from the airport and drive you to Lake Kivu, check in your lodge for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Spend whole day at Lake Kivu

After your breakfast step out of the lodge and you have a range of activities to engage in and get your day going. Lake Kivu waters have waves that support water sports activities like windsurfing, kayaking, speed boat rides and sport fishing, swimming, hiking and biking along the shore. In the evening you will visit a few attractions in the nearby towns of Kibuye and Gisenyi. Rertun to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3.Transfer to Kigali

Spend your whole day relaxing at the beach and in the afternoon transfer back to the city Kigali, drop off at your hotel or airport for your flight in case it is scheduled.
