Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Transfer to volcanoes national park

Our company guide will pick you up from your hotel or lodge and take you around for a city tour, where you will visit the memorial genocide site, the king’s palace of Nyanza then later transfer you to the northern side musaze- volcanoes national park. Checkin your lodge/ hotel

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in volcanoes national park

Wakeup early for morning breakfast and then transfer to kinigi park quarters for 7am briefing about the dos and don’ts for tracking mountain gorillas, head to the jungle for the expeditions. Return to the lodge in the afternoon to refresh and in the evening you can visit the ibyiwacu cultural village for the Rwanda cultural experience.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Lake Kivu

In the morning after breakfast you will go track the primates namely; golden monkeys, baboons, and many others. In the afternoon get ready to transfer to Gisenyi – Lake Kivu. En route visit the Murambi Genocide Memorial Site and the King’s palace reaching Lake Kivu in the evening to relax along the lake shores.

Day 4: Boat Ride at Lake Kivu – Transfer to Kigali

Have breakfast at the lodge and late embark on a boat ride along Lake Kivu. Lake Kivu is the largest fresh water lake crocodile and hippo free, enjoy swimming and relaxing in the white sand beaches offering tourists a relaxing environment while in Rwanda. In the afternoon your safari guide will drive you back to the Kigali drop off at either your hotel or the airport for departure.
