This 2 days and 1 night safaris in Akagera National park the only savannah park that we have in Rwanda will rewards you with different wild animal species including even the Big 5 Animals plus o the kind of animal species like giraffes, zebras, Impalas, Hypos,… Apart from the game drive we shall also have a chance to do Boat riding in Ihema Lake the 3rd biggest lake in the Country so as to maximize our chance to see some of the Aquatic animal like Crocodiles, Hypos and several species of Birds.

What you can expect?

In this Tour you can expect nothing rather than the Adventure and doing a game drive where we can spot different animal species even Boat Riding will be a great adventure for you to don’t miss. Apart from the Game drive & Boating, also because in Akagera National Park is a Destination in Rwanda where the you can find the high species of birds, for that reason if you are interested in birds  in this tour you can expect to see different colorful birds.

Day 1; Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park for Half - Game drive and Boat ride on Lake Ihema.

In the morning hours right after breakfast, like at 07 am our guide will be pick you up from your hotel in Kigali to transfer to Akagera National Park. The drive will take you 3hrs after we shall do a Half Game drive so as to see some animals that will be welcoming us in the park, after a half Game drive in the Afternoon hours we will go to Akagera Game Lodge for check-in and Lunch. After that Lunch in the evening hours we will go to the Ihema Lake for 1-2 hours Boating that will reward us with the Aquatic Animals like Hypos, Crocodiles and more different bird species.

Day 2:  Full Safari game drive in Akagera National Park and transfer to Kigali

In the morning before sunrise, to catch up with the early risers, you will go for morning game drive in the park searching for Nocturnal wildlife like hyenas, bush pigs ..., the drive through the park will pass through all the park from South to the Northern part of the Park which will also will reward you with animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes and many more. Afterwards we will transfer you at Your hotel/ homestay.
